Material: Ceramic fibre mat Size: 500 x 500 x 5mm Note: Unlike many conventional fibre mats from other manufacturers, the BOOST Products fibre mat remains permanently temperature-stable even at extreme temperatures of over 1200 °C. Even under this enormous thermal load, the material does not begin to crystallise or become brittle. Even after intense heat exposure, the mat can still be handled and worked without any problems - without the unpleasant glass fibre particles often found with classic glass fibre mats. The material neither penetrates the skin nor causes irritation when handled or worked. In our practical tests, the fibre mat was exposed for several minutes to temperatures of over 1200 °C directly at a distance of just a few millimetres. Even under these extreme conditions the mat showed no visible changes whatsoever. There was no discolouration, no brown spots or any other signs of thermal damage. Afterwards, the mat could be picked up straight away, folded, moved and processed further without any fibres coming loose or the material being damaged. This underlines the exceptional thermal stability and material quality of the Linus Products fibre mat.
